In Love

You get the feeling that the two love birds were really in love with each other, much more than the script asks for. That is because they were a real couple.

The love and hatred for each other were equally intense. The passion kept making them feel attracted and repelled. They loved each other, but did not like each other.

The sweet fondness only came after their divorce. That was when they solved their differences and started to like and love each other equally.

You get the feeling that they were never divorced-- their marriage was an affair of their hearts.

Second Ring

It's sweet how Lucy loved the cheap brass ring Desi bought for her at the eleventh hour because he was too nervous on the day of their elopement. Desi even had it coated with gold, but it still turned Lucy's finger green. She didn't mind.

Do you know?
Lucille Ball wore her first wedding ring on every episode of I Love Lucy, and only started wearing the huge diamond ring Desi Arnaz bought for her from around season 4 onwards. She still loved the first one; sometimes, she would wear both together.

Bob Hope

Bob Hope is hilarious!

The two of them really had great chemistry. It helped that they were great friends too!

Rare Footage

Hey, this is a rare footage!

Desi and Lucille didn't like their children to be on TV really.

And she's the only one who could pronounce his name correctly as DE-SI, not DE-ZI.

Anniversary Waltz

How could they ever get over each other, when the true deep love was so apparent, even while they were acting as Ricky and Lucy Ricardo?
